P4C - Des enfants philosophent

DVD showing the work of Michel Sasseville at Laval University in Canada. It is in French with English subtitles and lasts 351 minutes. It shows him working with three groups of primary age children reflecting on such questions as ‘Can one be curious without being indiscreet?’ ‘What is violence?’ ‘ Can we love an object more than a person?’ and ‘What is imagination?’. It is part of a distance learning course for which Laval University won the 2005 prize for Excellence and Innovation in Conceptual Pedagogy from the Canadian Association of Distance Learning.

Thinking Together (Video)

The Thinking Together video shows you how teachers at Gallions Primary School in East London used the approach to promote learning, community and well-being.
