We welcome ideas and suggestions from members for research and development projects as well as for practical applications. We may be able to offer advice about possible sources of funding.

Mixed Age Philosophy. Age is no barrier – at least that’s the thinking behind Age Concern Barrow’s ‘Building Bridges’ initiative, an intergenerational project that brings young and older people together to share their time and experiences.
This is a one-year project funded by OXFAM and implemented by SAPERE in collaboration with the Development Education Centres in Cumbria (CDEC) and South Yorks (DECSY). Also see the North West Global Dimension Network
Using P4GC to support learning in Global Citizenship
SAPERE is a partner in the European project “MENON:Developing dialogue through philosophical inquiry”
The project consists of a storyteller visiting 10 groups of P5-7 children in 6 primary schools in the Greater Pollok SIP area. The storyteller works with the same groups once a week facilitating ‘communities of inquiry’ sparked off by the telling of a traditional story.
A project in Falconbrook Primary School in Wandsworth working with children from two year groups on improving their reasoning and higher order thinking.
