P4C is most effective when it becomes part of a whole school approach to learning. The Level 1 course provides the basic training to become a P4C teacher. SAPERE can create a range of structured, focused training courses to suit your individual needs. We can also help with larger training projects for schools and local authorities.

Some schools opt to send one teacher to a Level 1 course with the expectation that they will then be able to ‘cascade’ P4C to their colleagues. We advise that to be able to do this effectively it is necessary to have had significant practice and experience of facilitating P4C and to have passed the Level 2 course.
